Event description
Alexis O'Neill will read her book, "The Kite that Bridged Two Nations"

About this Event

Join kidSTREAM and Ventura County-based authors, Sarah Lynn Scheerger and Alexis O'Neill, as they read a few of their outstanding children's books and invite you to take the next step and imagine what you can create based upon their books.

In the morning session, Sarah Lynn Scheerger will read, "The Boulder Brothers: Meet Mo and Jo," and children are invited to explore what life would have been like for Mo and Jo, as cave people. The Vision Room will be closed during the reading, and reopened during activities.

In the afternoon session, Alexis O'Neill will read, "The Kite that Bridged Two Nations," and afterward, children can make their own kites, just like the book's main character, Homan Walsh. The vision room will be closed during the book's reading, and reopened during kite making.

We ask that families choose the time that works for their schedule, and choose only one time slot, to allow more people in to hear the authors and explore, play, and discover at kidSTREAM.

Tickets must be reserved for all attendees, adults and children.
