Description

This is the third of a 3 part series that provides a thourough introduction to R for beginners. Register for each of the three parts separately.

Part 3 assumes you're familiar with the material in Part 1 and Part 2. It also assumes general knowledge of what loops and conditionals are and how they work (at the introductory level covered in the Programming Concepts workshop). Part 3 covers:

  • Basic Statistics
  • Data visualization with base R graphics
  • Creating Functions
  • Loops
  • Conditionals (if/then statements)

You will need access to R and RStudio and a laptop for the workshop. See https://github.com/nuitrcs/r-intro-summer2019 for instructions on installing R/RStudio or accessing them online.
