Texas Folklife invites you to join us for an exhibit opening of "Quilting the World's Conscience" at the Texas Folklife Gallery. The art exhibit Visioning Human Rights in the New Millennium: Quilting the World's Conscience will feature quilts on display. Quilting the World's Conscience is a call for action orchestrated by Carolyn Mazloomi and the Women of Color Quilters Network & Friends. Through the art of quilting, artists interpret the thirty articles of the Declaration of Human Rights with a variety of styles and techniques.
