Description

Small businesses will learn to identify ways to streamline bookkeeping activities and efficiently improve financial features of your business using QuickBooks software. Learn how to choose the type of QuickBooks software that is best for your business and how to set it up with users, create templates and banking feeds. You will learn how to create estimates, invoicing, sales orders and receipts. In addition you will learn how to track inventory, purchase orders, and bank reconciliation. QuickBooks is useful software for payroll reporting of 1099 employees, tracking your payroll and sales taxes. You are able to create balance sheets, and record profits and loss.

Service Based Businesses with no products to sell. January 15 for beginners and January 17 for beginners from the first class and those who have some experience.

Product Based Businesses with products to sell. January 22 for beginners and January 24 for beginners from the first class and those who have some experience.

The focus will be more on QuickBooks Online, than QB’s desktop. Both beginners’ classes will have a small primer of basic accounting concepts (i.e. what is A/R, A/P, Cash flow, P&L, Balance Sheet, G/L).

Kristin Roberts is a highly qualified tax professional with over twenty years of experience representing clients before federal and state tax agencies. In her comprehensive tax practice, Kris concentrates on the special accounting and tax preparation and consulting needs of corporations, multi-state entities, as well as limited liability companies, partnerships, and fiduciary entities. Kris also has extensive experience assisting her clients with tax audits, offers in compromise, individual tax planning, payroll taxes, and amended returns.

Kris holds an MBA with a concentration in Technology Management. She is currently working on her research for her doctoral degree in Entrepreneurial Studies. She earned her Enrolled Agent license from the US Department of the Treasury in 2003. This license allows her to represent taxpayers throughout the United States and abroad. Kris was recently awarded the 2018 Tax Professional of the Year award by the National Association of Tax Professionals for her commitment to drive positive change through her volunteer efforts within her community.
