This is part 2 of the Bookkeeping series using Quickbooks Desktop. Part 1 covers monthly billing extensively. Part 2 is a comprehensive overview of Quickbooks. It covers most of Quickbooks modules; A/R (accounts receivable), A/P (accounts payable), cash (bank and credit card) and reconciliation. Regular procedures will be demonstrated. Useful reports will be highlighted.

About the Presenter

Terry Chong is an accounting graduate from Golden Gate University. She worked with a small, local CPA firm for seven years before starting out on her own. She once aspired to develop affordable housing for middle-income families, and studied architecture at City College of San Francisco. She works regularly with contractors and architects and is familiar with construction and design phases, which allows her to customize Quickbooks; a widely used accounting software to ease the workflow of monthly billing and job costing. “Focus-Grow Bookkeepers, your in-house accountants” is the motto of her company.
