Event description
A Catholic couple from France has their life turned upside down when their four daughters marry men from different races and religions. Fun!

About this Event

This entertaining comedy takes you to Chinon, in a provincial, bourgeois catholic family. The couple adapts to life with three sons-in- law of different faiths and ethnic origins with some discomfort.

There is hope when their last unmarried daughter makes a big announcement. The film offers a vision of a world where racial intolerance is heading for extinction.

The bilingual introduction and the discussion will be led by Hélène Laroche Davis, Professor of Film Studies.

Food (traditional French charcuterie and cheeses provided by Fabrique Délices and Frenchery, Wine, Networking and French Songs with Gaëlle Boudier for starters!
