Playback Theatre is a form of improv which is used around the world to honor the personal stories of the participants. No theatre experience is required. We will play several improv games to warm up and then tell stories from our lives and enact them on the spot.
We hosted this workshop in October 2016 and people loved it. We had a dynamic group of ~15 people, varying ages and acting experience. This time, we will extend the workshop by 30 minutes so that we can recreate and explore more personal stories.
What to expect? Fun, depth, and a sense of shared, queer community.
Arrive promptly at 7pm. Suggested donation of $10 (at the event), helps pay for the space rental. Extra funds will be donated to the Center for Playback Theatre scholarship program: http://www.playbackcentre.org/about-playback-theatre/
