Musicivic presented Quartet Salonnières’ 1772: Diversion + Divergence in a series of live events throughout our local communities in June 2022. The program takes us back in time to the year 1772, exploring the origins of the string quartet form through works by W.A. Mozart, Franz Xaver Richter, and Joseph Haydn, yet traverses the centuries through Quartet Salonnières’s refreshing, timeless, and original take on historically informed performance.
