Program & Ensemble Information
The Ambler Musicivic presents Quartet Salonnières in our first live, in-person concert of 2022 at the Highlands Mansions & Gardens. The program takes us back in time to the year 1772, exploring the origins of the string quartet form through works by W.A. Mozart, Franz Xaver Richter, and Joseph Haydn, yet traverses the centuries through Quartet Salonnières's refreshing, timeless, and original take on historically informed performance.
This program brings the heritage of the Highlands Mansion & Gardens together with music that was still in its first generation when the Highlands was built. We are grateful to the Highlands for partnering with Ambler Musicivic for this performance. Do come early to enjoy the Highlands beatiful grounds.
The program is free with RSVP, though we encourage you to consider making a donation to help support our artists and and help us to provide free music experiences in the Ambler community.
We will be asking the audience to wear masks. Thank you for your consideration.
