About this event
The Small Business Advocacy Council believes the success of small businesses is a critical component of local communities and the nation’s economy. The SBAC has spent the last decade alongside small business owners fighting for reasonable policies that foster a healthier small business environment - economically, socially, and culturally.
Come and learn about Illinois HB3215. SBAC is pushing for HB3215, which will support small businesses struggling to hire employees, foster opportunities for returning citizens, improve public safety, and reduce the costs of recidivism.
Hear and give comments on The Neighborhood Revitalization Coalition Policy: There has never been a more important time to revitalize neighborhood business districts. The SBAC is looking at passing policies that reduce vacancies in local business districts.
The SBAC will be announcing their 2023 agenda, which will include efforts to stabilize the costs of health insurance, occupational licensing reform, and enacting legislation that will make it easier for small businesses to procure government contracts.
