Why are we stuck when it comes to policy and civic leadership? Join us to learn from Executive Director Sean Kershaw about a new approach to policymaking that recognizes a role for everyone.
This is a free event for Citizens League members only to introduce people to the guidelines and skills of this new framework.
The Citizens League believes that the key element of civic leadership in the 21st Century is the need for leaders in all institutions to self-identify as civic leaders, and to gain the perspectives, skills and base of support to help them improve the institutions where they spend time (work, community, congregations, schools, governing, etc.) and can impact the issues that matter to Minnesota.
Quantum Civics™ accomplishes this by helping participants to understand the need for a new approach to public leadership, to be introduced to an approach that responds to the realities of our times, and to have the chance to apply this approach to their work and life.
Not only does this make work and community life more meaningful for people, it builds the capacity to address organizational opportunities for these leaders, and very practical public problems we face in Minnesota.
- To introduce participants to the need for a new framework for leadership and action
- To connect this framework to their own lifework and leadership opportunities
- To introduce people to the guidelines and skills of a new framework
Directions to the meeting space will be sent upon registration.
