Description

World Parkinson Congress pre-meeting -
Parkinson's Disease and the Quantified Self - How to use 'Quantified Self' strategies to optimize my health

Welcome to the WPC pre-meeting on Quantified Self for PD!

Quantified Self is a movement (and a set of strategies) dedicated to helping people observe, track, and trend daily life. When applied to Parkinson's Disease, Quantified Self strategies can provide powerful insight into an individual's evolving health status, response to different treatments, and hidden patterns of association. This meeting is open to anyone (PwP, family members/care partners, clinicians, researchers, others) interested in increasing their understanding on how personal observations, with or without the support of technology, to optimize their health.

Time: Sunday 18 September 2016 3pm-5pm

Location: Roosevelt Room, Double Tree by Hilton, Portland, OR

Limited seating, PwP will be prioritised if full.

Speakers include Gary Wolf, cofounder of the Quantified Self (video here), Steven Jonas, QS Labs (video here), Sara Riggare, Kent Unruh, and Jasmine Sturr.

See you there!

Sara Riggare, Ambassador for WPC 2016, PhD student Karolinska Institutet
