Event description

Description

All Pitt faculty and staff have free unlimited access to Qualtrics, a tool for easily creating sophisticated, anonymous online surveys. These surveys can be used to collect information from your students, get anonymous feedback or evaluation, or for human subjects research.

By the end of this workshop you will be able to:

  • Log into Qualtrics and use the Quick Survey Builder to create a 5-10-item survey;
  • Use and understand multiple item types;
  • Use logic statements to deploy survey items;
  • View and export survey results, create reports and collaborate with others.

Registration for University Center for Teaching and Learning workshops is mandatory. Registering for workshops ensures the distribution of pre-workshop materials and helps maintain the integrity of our attendance records.

If you have any special accommodation needs, please contact us at workshops@teaching.pitt.edu in advance.

If you are unable to come to this workshop in person, a livestream can be arranged for remote attendance. Please contact us at least five business days prior to the workshop to request a livestream.

Please note that after registration, you will recieve a confimration email containing a link to an anonymous pre-workshop survey, which helps us tailor each workshop to the needs and skill-levels of the attendees. Please look for the link when you get your confirmation.

This workshop may be counted toward the Educational Technology cluster of the Achievement in Pedagogy badge offered through the Graduate Student Teaching Initiative. For more information, visit the Achievement in Pedagogy Badge page or contact tahelp@pitt.edu.
