Fully updated and re-launched in 2025, the new Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) 2025 FREC 3 (Requalification) enables learners to requalify in the knowledge and competencies needed to operate in a clinically governed prehospital emergency care setting.

It is ideal for those looking to equip themselves with lifesaving skills to prepare them to be amongst the first to arrive at a scene of an emergency, including first responders such as police officers, firefighters, emergency medical services and search and rescue personnel.
It is also ideal for those providing event medical cover or roles such as First Responders, Door Supervisors, Close Protection Operatives and Security Guards, as well as those working in high-risk environments including the military, power stations, offshore renewable energy, agriculture and manufacturing settings.

The Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) 2025 FREC 3 (Requalification) can also act as a stepping stone to working within the private medical world in roles such as Patient Transport.

If you do not already have a copy of the recommended learning materials from your original course then you will be required to purchase these on top of the course price.

Who Should Take This Qualification ?

Prerequisites

To attend the Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) 2025 FREC 3 (Requalification) you must already posses a valid, in date Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care Qualification or similar.

You will be required to complete practical activities & assessments during the Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) 2025 FREC 3 (Requalification). Learners should be physically capable of performing this tasks, which may include bending, kneeling and lying on the floor. If you qualification or course includes a CPR assessment, this will be required to be completed on the floor and may last for a minimum of 2 mins.

Learners do not need good literacy skills to complete the Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) 2025 FREC 3 (Requalification), but there will be a multiple choice paper at the end of the course.
