Description
We invite stakeholders from throughout the state to gather on October 19, 2018 in Oconomowoc to explore improving quality care for infants, children, youth, adolescents and young adults.
We'll cover what's new in QI initiatives in pediatrics, including speakers, networking and afternoon Roundtable session!
Kicking off the day will be a presentation from the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) on the past, present and future of maintenance of certification and how QI fits into pediatric practice requirements. Also in the morning session we will hear about the Wisconsin Healthcare Quality Collaborative (WCHQ) and its collaboration around Maternal Child Health.
Afternoon roundtable sessions will include:
- Wisconsin/Illinois AAP QI project: Increasing HPV vaccination rates
- Emergency Medical Services for Children: Pediatric Readiness Quality Collaborative
- Department of Children and Families: YoungStar Quality Rating System for Early Care and Education
- Gundersen Health System: Care of Newborns and Infants with Prenatal Opiate Exposure
- Children's Hospital of Wisconsin: Depression screening
