QPR Ask a Question, Save a Life

Suicide is everyone's business, and anyone can learn three life-saving skills that can help save a life.  QPR is not intended to be form of couneling or treatment.  QPR is intended to offer hope through postivie action, and teach those who are in a positiion to recognize the warning signs, clues, and suicidal communciations of people in trouble to respond and connect the person at risk to supports they may need.  

This evidence-based training course teaches individuals how to recognize the warning signs of suicide, offer hope to people in crisis, and get help to save a life. It is suitable for people with little to no mental health background. 

What you can expect to learn from this course:

Question... ask the question about suicide

Persuade... the person to help and,

Refer... connect the person to resources


Attendees will receive a certificate with 2 contact hours (not CEU's).  

Cost is $25.00 to register and reserve seating.  Once you complete the 2 hours of training you will be reimbursed in full the $25.00.  Seating is limited!

Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network

The Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network (TSPN) is the statewide public-private organization responsible for implementing the Tennessee Strategy for Suicide Prevention as defined by the 2001 National Strategy for Suicide Prevention.

Our grass-roots association which works across the state to eliminate the stigma of suicide and educate communities about the warning signs of suicide, with the ultimate intention of reducing suicide rates in the state of Tennessee.
