Description
QPR Training for Trainers.
QPR stands for Question, Persuade and Refer, three steps anyone can learn to help prevent suicide. Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can save lives.
Suicide is now the 2nd leading cause of death for teenagers. It claims the lives of nearly 40,000 people each year. For each person who dies by suicide countless others are left in pain.
This class is designed to train you to be a certified instructor of QPR. Just as we have instructors in CPR we also want to have instructors of QPR. This is an 8 hour training.
The class that you will ultimately be able to instruct is a 1 to 2 hour class for the public. Perhaps you would become a certified instructor for your organization or business or maybe you would offer classes in your community.
Class size is limited so please sign up early!
The class will take place on August 14th at Muskegon Community College in Muskegon, Michigan.
