QiGong for Stress Relief (6-week session)
This is a six-week session: January 10 - February 14. All classes are held in McShain Lounge Large. Each class builds upon the last, so please plan to attend the series in its entirety for maximum benefit. You'll be glad you did!
Discover qigong – the ancient healing art that combines gentle movement, deep breathing and meditation. Through the integration of posture, body movements, breathing, and focused intention, this mind-body practice enhances vitality and calmness to reduce stress levels. You will learn simple qigong movements to aid in relaxation and centering, and to increase your flexibility, balance, and body awareness, to incorporate qigong into a wellness maintenance program to help facilitate physical, emotional and spiritual benefits. All fitness levels are welcome. Free for faculty and staff. Led by Instructor Ann Duvall.
