Event description

Description

This is a multi-class session: January 2 - February 13. All classes are held on Tuesdays in McShain Lounge. (There will be no class on February 6.) Each class builds upon the last, so please register only if you plan to attend the series in its entirety. You'll be glad you did!

Discover qigong – the ancient healing art that combines gentle movement, deep breathing and meditation. Through the integration of posture, body movements, breathing, and focused intention, this mind-body practice enhances vitality and calmness to reduce stress levels. You will learn simple qigong movements to aid in relaxation and centering, and to increase your flexibility, balance, and body awareness, to incorporate qigong into a wellness maintenance program to help facilitate physical, emotional and spiritual benefits. All fitness levels are welcome. Free for faculty and staff. Led by Instructor Ann Duvall.
