Pakistan Arts Council of Pacific Asia Museum is pleased to present a very special concert by Fareed Ayaz, Abu Mohammad Qawwals and brothers. Visiting from Pakistan, this will be their only public performance in L.A.
Known for performing the most traditional form of Qawwali music, the group also follows the tradition of using only family members - direct descendants of Mian Samat Ibrahim, and the sons and grandsons of the legendary Razi Uddin Ahmad.
The group’s amazing singing abilities have been showcased in concerts around the world. They are universally embraced as leaders in the continuation of this beautiful art form, an art made so internationally beloved by the late legendary Qawwali singer Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
Don’t miss the opportunity to experience the power and beauty that only a live performance can bring! Select "VIP" or “Preferred” tickets for the closest seating. All ticket holders are invited to enjoy light pre-concert refreshments starting at 5:30 p.m.
Please note that the event will be taking place at the Pasadena Presbyterian Church, just two blocks east of Pacific Asia Museum.
Entertainment provided by SDZ Services.
