3:30 PM - Presentation
4:30 PM - Open Discussion
At Dynacron Group, we think like engineers - if there's something we can automate to save time building software, we're VERY interested. One of our biggest changes over the last few years has been a shift to relying on cloud-based tools to help with our quality efforts.
In this presentation, we will look at the key tools and processes involved in transitioning from a manual culture to one that embraces automation. We will look at real world examples, including the tools and architectural components. We will discuss organizational impacts, including the dramatic improvements in morale as team delivery commitments are met more easily through automation. We'll take particular time to talk about how to integrate these tools into environments concerned with security. We'll also talk about how and why test is one of the most appropriate places to start exploring the use of cloud technology for most organizations.
- Sauce Labs (manual & automated browser testing, including both desktop and mobile)
- Browsera (visual comparison)
- Neustar (monitoring & load testing, formerly BrowserMob)
This seminar is part of an ongoing series Dynacron Group is sponsoring on Continuous Delivery. Continuous Delivery refers to the process of releasing high quality software quickly and with confidence through the use of build, test and deployment automation. By applying Lean techniques to the development, test and deployment of software, waste is reduced and staff are freed up to work on more important tasks. By following a Continuous Delivery model, release cycles shift from a matter of months to weeks, days, or hours.
