5 day Bike Camp For Individuals With Disabilities Comes to Prince William County the week of PWCS Spring Break!

Please read all the details below before registering


The registration open for 

Prince William County/Manassas City residents on January 15th 10AM 

Non-residents registration opens on January 25th 10 AM.

How to apply

Step 1. Register your child here

 Please read the below requirements before registering your child(ren)

Step 2. Send a check by January 30th

Cost: $120 per rider

Multiple riders registration in the same household

A discount is available for the multiple riders registration. 

All riders must meet the requirements.

Requirements for participation:

  • Minimum of 8 years of age

  • With a disability

  • Able to walk without an assistive device

  • Willing and able to wear a properly fitted bike helmet

  • Able to sidestep to both sides

  • Maximum weight 220 lbs.

  • Minimum inseam of 20” (measured from the floor while wearing sneakers)

Reminder for parents/caregivers :

  • Parents are required to bring riders a personal bike for the last 2 days of the camp so that they can learn to ride on their own bike.

  • A parent or guardian must remain present at camp during the 75 minute session (dropping off the rider is not permitted)

  • The camp can accommodate 8 per session, 5 sessions lasting 75 minutes each will take place each day

  • Requires each rider attend the same 75-minute session for each of the 5 days (M – F)

  • Involves each rider being assigned the same two volunteers that will work with the rider each day.    


Session Times

Session 1: 8:30 AM- 9:45 AM

Session 2: 10:05 AM- 11:20 AM

Session 3: 11:40 AM - 12:55 PM

Session 4: 2:00 PM- 3:15 PM

Session 5: 3:35 PM- 4:50 PM


Post-camp orientation 

March 25th at Colgan HS 

Time: TBA


iCan Shine

iCan Bike is part of a national charitable nonprofit organization.

Volunteers work directly with the riders as a “spotter”. Spotters should be physically fit and able to run alongside the rider as well as support them should they begin to fall.
