Sambhali: Daughters of the Blue City

Join us on October 28th 2017 at 7pm for the premiere screening of PWB TV Season 2! Let us take you on a journey to India alongside our photographer Anne Gattilia to explore the world of Sambhali Trust, a charitable organization in India that is doing groundbreaking work to elevate women and young girls in the city of Jodhpur.

The episode also features an interview with esteemed director/screen writer Deepa Mehta.

Entertain all your senses as we invite you to partake in a cultural affair that includes tastes, sights, and sounds of India.

Sambhali Trust is a charitable organization in Jodhpur, India that fosters sisterhood, self-esteem and independence through vocational training and education for women and girls (especially those of the Dalit/untouchable "caste"), providing young underprivileged girls with homes and eduation, providing sustainable incomes and jobs for women, offering microfinance projects, and so much more.
