Event description

Description

PVAMU students and faculty, do you want to learn more about undergraduate research? Here's an opportunity for you to learn what undergraduate research is, how to get involved, what types of paid summer opportunites exist for undergraduates, and also a chance to talk first hand with professionals from select summer programs across the country.

Please register for only one of sessions at either 10:00 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. They are the same presentations, so, you don't need to register for both.

In addition, the PVAMU Biology Department and PVAMU Sigma Xi chapter is sponsoring their “Scientific Research Symposium” on this day, from 12:00 - 2:20 p.m. This is a great opportunity to check out the research of PVAMU students. Location is in the E. E. O’Banion Bldg. You are invited to attend this event as well.

There will be opportunities for you to schedule an individual appointment with one of the speakers if you have additional questions. Flyers from a wide variety of summer programs will be available.
