Puzzle Pattern Knitted Vest
Saturdays, March 11, 18 and 25
10am to 1pm
Instructor: Mary Lynn Phillips
$105 WGGC members / $130 non-members
Materials fee: $0
Using a sewing pattern vest (simple one with few pieces and no darts), knit shapes – triangles, squares, trapezoids – to create a puzzle pattern vest. Combine yarns from your stash: related tones, varied textures, and colors. Work in a free style, making your own rules. Hand-sew together, embellish, and design. Create a unique garment. There will be three sessions but you'll work on your own between classes creating your shapes.
- knitting needles, any size not too big
- yarn that creates a color scheme and teture
- sewing pattern for a jacket or vest (very simple)
- tissue paper or newsprint on which to trace pattern
- thread to match yarn color
- needles, straight pins, measuring tape
Your fee will be refunded if the class is canceled or changed to a different date. Three registrations are required for a class to be held. Students will be notified before the start date if a class is canceled due to an insufficient number of students.
