Who is this mysterious "user" that everyone's talking about? In this class, we'll review several techniques from the field of user-centered design that will help you define who your users are and understanding how and why they use your product. These UCD tools are essential for any user experience designer, product manager, or organization that wants to create products and services that make people happy.
Skot started making websites in 1994, just 4 years after Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web. Skot started his first e-commerce business in 1997, and consulted for small businesses throughout high school and college. After a brief stint in investment banking, he came back to his digital roots to cofound philosophie. He currently heads up User Experience Strategy at philosophie, where he and his team create awesome experiences… and then make them better.
