Calling all library lovers! Join the GCPL Foundation for the 2nd annual Puttin' on the Litz Gala at the Infinite Energy Center.

About this Event

The Gwinnett County Public Library Foundation presents its signature fundraising gala, Puttin' on the Litz, an elegant black tie event held at the Infinite Energy Center in Duluth, GA. The Puttin' on the Litz Gala features gourmet dining, live entertainment, a top-notch silent and live auction and the chance to dance the night away.

Hosted by the talented Atlanta radio personality, Jenn Hobby from Star 94.1, this event will be anything but boring. Don't miss our keynote speaker , New York Times Best Selling Author Diane Ackerman. Diane is known for her novel The Zookeeper's Wife, which was adapted into a major motion picture starring Jessica Chastain, Johan Heldenbergh, and Daniel Brühl in 2017.

Also, setting the tone for this celebratory event is the spectacular Joe Gransden and The Big Band will perform live.

All proceeds from the event support some of our most valuable programs, including Early Childhood Literacy initiatives and Career Online High School.

We hope to see you on October 19, 2019 to help us secure a bright future for our libraries and community.

Dinner will be followed with a live auction and the dance floor is opened so you can dance the night away.

Dress code: Black Tie Optional, we encourage all guest to wear 1940's inspired attire.

Tickets:

Standard Ticket - Includes red carpet drinks reception, table seating,seated dinner with red/white wine and entertainment.

VIP Ticket – As above PLUS a prestigious VIP guest reception with Diane Ackerman.

The VIP Reception is from 6 - 6:30pm.
