Put Some Glitter on it
Overview
Come to Amalga Distillery for a relaxing interval in your December weekend -- an afternoon concert with smiles, laughs, singalongs, and holiday music like you've never heard it before.
Featuring:
Marian Call
Harmony LaBoca aka Har$
Kelsey Riker
Cate Ross
Marian Call, longtime singer-songwriter, loves to sing the brightest of songs on the darkest of days. She happens to specialize in unusual holiday songs that span a thousand years, along with bemused but sincere original carols crafted here in Juneau. Her holiday album 'Yippee Ki Yay!' can be found at the Alaska Robotics Gallery and on Bandcamp.
Marian is joined for harmonies, percussion, and laughs by Cate Ross -- who likes Christmas lights, singing with friends, and sour cream on her latkes -- and Kelsey Riker, whose holiday favorites are corn pudding, Mrs. Santa Claus, and eggnog; they're excited to be making their official jingle bell debut.
Harmony, known as Har$, is a young singer and guitarist from Juneau, Alaska. Harmony performs with a warm, soulful style, blending worship influences with modern R&B, pop, and K-pop inspired chord progressions to create bright and melodic acoustic arrangements. She also teaches guitar on Youtube as @strumbelievable.
Her music is created as a collaborative father and daughter project with her dad, Jboaudioe (pronounced jay bo audio). Together, they arrange acoustic parts, craft melodies, and build songs that fit Harmony’s natural tone, personality, and growing comfort as a performer. Over time, they have released several songs on Spotify and other streaming platforms, with new projects quietly in the works.
As a young and growing artist, Harmony simply hopes her music brings joy, positivity, and a moment of inspiration to anyone who hears her.
