Description

P.U.S.H Forward is a mental health celebration for teens and young adults aimed at breaking the stigma surrounding psychological care. Our goal is to build a formal community that encourages openness and growth in their daily struggles. Be inspired by our expert speakers Natalie Houser, PA author of "The Compton Diagnosis" and Rasheed Ivey ,CDU medical student, as they take us through their journey to MAXIMIZING POTENTIAL through failures and success. Come learn from psychologist ,Dr. Picolya Robinson, who will address the mental ramifications of social media. bullying ,and drug use .

Particpants will also have an option to register for one of our 4 breakout workshops : College Readiness for juniors and seniors ( Kimberly Johson ,PhD ), Coping vs Healing (Natalie Lamb, trauma expert), Man2Man exploring peer pressure leadership , finances & careers (Stanley Blake ,Jr B.A., Hampton University), Self Esteem & Body Image (Angela Body,MSW,LCSW)

Enjoy free lunch as you listen to the beats of Dj Mimi and Spoken Word Artists Elston Bell, Jr & Salem Haile

We firmly believe mental wellness should be celebrated. The day will end with a concert feauring the healing musical sounds of Jamal Lamont (@jamallamont) & The.WAV (@the.WAV)
