Description

Faith & Action’s Spring Conference focuses on sharing successes, accelerating progress and disrupting poverty’s growth

Across Central Indiana, a wide array of people and groups are doing good work to turn back the tide of poverty. Far too often, though, that good work is under-resourced, performed in silos, or delivered in doses too concentrated to make a broad difference.

The Faith & Action Project’s Spring Conference brings together people and organizations making progress against poverty so they can share their ideas and collaborate for impact.

By attending the conference, you’ll join people of all faith communities and backgrounds to seek lasting solutions to the poverty that affects far too many people in Central Indiana. Together, we can increase the pace of our fight against poverty, and transform our community and the people who live in it.

You’ll also get details about the Faith & Action grant application process, which will provide funds to the most promising programs in Indianapolis that, with additional resources, can be replicated or otherwise accelerated.

So gather friends, fellow worshippers in your faith community, peers in your service organizations, colleagues in your work and more, and bring them to the Faith & Action Project’s Spring Conference.

Christian Theological Seminary, with support from the Mike and Sue Smith Family Fund and Lumina Foundation, is facilitating the Faith & Action Project to inspire collaboration among individuals, faith communities, nonprofits and government agencies to reduce area poverty.

For more information on the Faith & Action Project go to http://www.cts.edu/faith-action-project/

Please note Attendance at the Spring Conference is a prerequisite for organizations who wish to apply for a Faith & Action grant.
