Event description

Description

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure…” In this conversation, we will explore ikigai, the Japanese concept of “a reason for being,” that brings satisfaction and meaning to life, and lies a the intersection of our passion, mission, and vocation. We will touch on the critical distinction between self esteem and self worth, as well as the impact both our emotional intelligence and resilience have on the world. Lastly, we will examine the four sources from which we draw our personal power. All of these ideas give us a firm foundation to begin our individual leadership journey.

I invite you to join me for this first in a four part series of conversations where we will explore our capacity for authentic leadership and its impact on every level of our community: our selves, our families, our workplaces, and our social/service organizations. Consider yourself my guest for an informal reception, followed by a brief presentation and subsequent discussion, hosted at The Healing House in downtown Covington.

This sequence of conversations is designed for each topic to build upon the previous, so while I encourage you to register for the whole series, you may commit to individual dates as your schedule permits. Each 30 minute presentation and 15 minute discussion will be freestanding.
