Let's Skate! Bring the whole family to celebrate Prince's birthday month at Skateville with Purple Playground. DJ Willie Adams will spin favorites, deep cuts and songs by the students from Academy of Prince. Skate or dance or just party like its 2023.
Our free Academy of Prince music programs teach teens how to write and record their own original songs in a professional recording studio. Teachers include musicians who worked with Prince and the students gain confidence and creative skills and a lot of new friends.

Our programs are tuition free and supported by donations from Purple Playground supporters and grants.

We formed our 501(c)3 nonprofit fan-based group to honor Prince’s legacy and inspire as he did - with funds from our events used to create our FREE Academy of Prince music programs for teens.
