Advertising Specifications

ELECTRONIC ARTWORK FORMAT: Submit only high-resolution PDF or JPEG files. Files should have fonts saved to outlines if artwork was created in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, or other professional design software.

SUBMISSION: Email final artwork before the May 1, 2022 deadline via email to fashionblyfit22@gmail.com

PAYMENT: The organization’s non-profit EIN# is 91-1917246 and all checks should be made payable to the National Council of Negro Women View Park and mailed to P.O. Box 561166, Los Angeles, CA 90056. Please inquire if you would like to pay by credit card. If paying by electronic apps make a notation “PURPLE HAT”.

TABLE SETTING CONTEST

Theme: 60 Shades of Purple

Rules for Contest

To enter the contest you must purchase a full table (seating 10 guest), for a total cost of $800.00. Due by May 15, 2022 at 11:59pm. Please include contestant contact information (name, address, daytime phone number, and email). Only five (5) tables are available for the contest. Tables will be released on a first come, first serve basis.

The Contestants may involve the assistance of their guest and/or they alone may decorate the table.

This is a timed event - One (1) hour

Centerpieces may not extend over 2ft. (24in)

Contestants may provide their own place settings for this event

This event will be judged on creativity, conveyed message, cohesiveness, team work (if applicable), over all presentation.

1st, 2nd and 3rd Prizes are awarded

NO PROFESSIONAL (Event Planners, Interior Decorators, etc.) entries please. No Purple Hat Affair Planning Committee Members of View Park Section are not allowed to participant in this contest.

This event will be photographed and recorded.

The NCNW is a nonprofit organization comprised of more than 230 community-based partners along with 36 national African American women’s organizations. Our mission is to lead, empower, and advocate for nearly four million women, their families and communities. Founded in 1935 by Mary McLeod Bethune, and later led by Dr. Height, NCNW has harnessed the collective power of women of African descent, so they can realize their goals for social justice and human rights through united and constructive action.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will support our Saving Ourselves Sisters Program, Mentoring Programs for Young Women and Girls; Education activities, and Homeless Families and Transitioning Youth Outreach Programs.
