Pupusas Cooking Class
Overview
Mi Cocina, Tu Cocina — Latin Table Winter Series ✨
I am SO honored to introduce you to Evelyn Dyer, a beautiful soul in our community and a proud daughter of El Salvador 🇸🇻❤️
Evelyn grew up cooking authentic Salvadoran food, and she will be leading us in a 100% hands-on Pupusa Workshop! 👩🏽🍳🔥 🫓
Pupusas are the national dish of El Salvador — thick, handmade corn tortillas that are stuffed with delicious fillings like cheese, beans, pork, or a mix called revueltas. The dough is made from masa harina, shaped by hand, filled, sealed, and cooked on a hot griddle.
They’re soft, warm, comforting, and full of flavor — a true Salvadoran classic. Pupusas are traditionally served with curtido (a tangy pickled cabbage slaw) and salsa roja, making the perfect combination of savory, creamy, and crunchy.
You’ll learn how to make pupusas from scratch — from preparing the masa to filling, shaping, and griddling your own pupusas step-by-step. And the best part?
👉 You get to take ALL the pupusas you make home to share with your loved ones! 🫶✨
