About the Speaker:
Steven Cooper, Rotating Equipment Specialist
Steven Cooper joined the A.W. Chesterton Company with over twenty five years of experience in maintenance work including machine shop, pump repair (centrifugal and positive displacement), gearboxes, fans, steam turbines, and valve work.
Steven has lead process improvement and troubleshooting teams for multiple companies and spent ten years serving as a Technical Training Specialist (Mechanical) for AEP plants. Steven also served on the OPMUG Board of Directors.
About the Seminar:
Pumps are the second-most common machines in use today. A thorough understanding of pump principles is often required for you to effectively carry out your day-to-day business. If you repair, maintain, or operate pumps in any way, this training will provide you with the information needed to perform these tasks. We will cover pump principles including:
- Pump design
- Pump efficiency
- Pump terminology
- Pump troubleshooting
- Preventative maintenance
All attendees will be given a free copy of Chesterton’s Pump Principles Manual.
