Artist Yohan Daza and Illusionist Jeff Veley, will bring their "Y Do You Hate Me" anti-bullying message to high school students using a mix of music, comedy, storytelling and illusion, to teach kids how to deal with bullying in a positive uplifting way. Yohan Daza, a Latino artist and KCAD Digital Media alum, draws on his own past experiences of discrimination, and is using "his art" to make a difference.
In addition to the presentation, students will also have an opportunity to visit the Pulso exhibition at KCAD and Urban Institute for Contemporary Art (UICA).
Please meet at 10AM at the Kendall Woodbridge N. Ferris building on 17 Pearl St NW.
