Fire Truck Pull Competition Details*
The Event: A one day event with teams competing to pull a Fire engine in the fastest time possible. It’s the ultimate tug of war challenge and great team building event.
The Purpose: All proceeds from the event go towards the St. Baldrick's Foundation to help fund childhood cancer research.
The Teams: Each team will consist of a maximum of 10 people. Each person will pay a $15 entrance fee.
*Don't have any other strong friends but still want to participate? No problem! We will put you on a team!
The Pull: Team members will line up on the rope attached to the fire engine. The official starter will signal when to start the pull. After the team pulls the fire engine 100ft. or 5 minutes has elapsed, the stopwatch will stop. Elapsed time will be recorded as the team score.
The Prizes: Really cool trophies and bragging rights
The Schedule: First Pull will begin around 4pm. Teams should arrive 30min ahead of time to sign in, sign waiver and get set up.

Awards to follow at the close of the competition
All participants will sign a waiver when checking in with their team on the day of the event.
Teams may not consist of more than 10 members.
Participants need to wear loose fitting clothing, closed toe athletic shoes and gloves for hand protection.
In the event a team member cannot participate after he/she has registered, then the Team Captain may appoint an alternate team member. Alternate team member is required to submit a signed waiver, NO REFUNDS.
Teams may station their pullers on the rope but must not begin pulling until signaled. The signal from the Referee is… Ready, Set and the blowing of an air horn.
Timing begins at the sound of the horn and continues until the truck is pulled the required 100ft. distance or 5 minutes has elapsed. Elapsed time will be recorded as the team score.
Referee will signal the end of the pull and the truck brakes will be applied.
A 1 ½ diameter rope will be used for the competition. Upon completion of the pull, the teams will immediately assemble in front of a fire truck for a team photo.
