The Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC)  is pleased to present the first event in our Rutgers Technology Commercialization Seminar Series. 

Public/Private Partnerships:  The Intersection of Knowledge and Innovation.

Come join us for an informative talk, some refreshments and
a change to meet and mingle with fellow faculty and staff members.

Our guest speaker is Robert Cresanti, currently vice president of Government Relations for SAP America Inc.

 About our speaker:  Robert Cresanti leads SAP's federal and state government relations activities, supports and advises SAP's public sector group, and manages SAP's non-profit relationships in DC. With more than 15 years of experience in banking, securities, tax and privacy law, Cresanti was formerly with the Gray Company, a practice specializing in government relations, strategic consulting and lobbying in the technology and financial services industries. He also served as managing director of Ocean Tomo, an intellectual property merchant bank, and served as CEO of the company's Intellectual Property Exchange.  In 2006, Cresanti was named Under Secretary of Commerce for Technology, where he headed the Technology Administration (TA) and served as chief privacy officer for the Department of Commerce. Cresanti co-chaired the Committee on Technology and the Interagency Working Group on Manufacturing R&D within the President's National Science and Technology Council (NSTC). He also represented the Commerce Department on the President's ID Theft Task Force.
