I'm convinced 2013 is going to be the year of the hybrid cloud infrastructure, says Tracy Corbo, Principal Research Analyst at Enterprise Management Associates. Why?

The economic, time-to-market and business agility benefits of public cloud computing are very attractive. However, it is not clear that public cloud is the right solution for all applications and in all circumstances. So, is a hybrid solution right for your enterprise? To effectively implement a hybrid strategy, you need an integrated IT strategy including security, management, capacity management and resource pooling.

This all-star panel will look at hybrid cloud strategy in the enterprise:

  • How do you know what architecture is right for you?
  • How do you do security, disaster recovery and management across these environments?
  • How do you control costs in a hybrid environment?
  • Which applications belong in the cloud and which should be kept in the data center?
  • How do you react to a dynamic, unpredictable world?
  • When would you use both public and private cloud for the same application?
