Welcome to the Palladium – a concert hall built for acoustic excellence – a space that rivals the world’s great concert halls. The Palladium is one of three venues on the campus of the Center for the Performing Arts.
Tour participants will enter the Palladium hall and learn about the staff, tools, and architecture which provide the incredibly dynamic acoustics and wonderful experience for each show goer. A visit to the Songbook exhibit gallery and several of the special event rooms is also included during the tour.
Tours are scheduled on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month at 10:30 AM. These free tours are roughly 1 hour in length and must be scheduled no later than 1 week in advance.
On your tour date, plan to arrive at the Palladium West Entrance by 10:20 AM.
Some dates will not be available due to conflicts in our performance and event schedules.
The mission of the Center for the Performing Arts is to serve as the performance home for local resident performing arts organizations, present the finest performing artists from around the world and develop arts educational programming serving our diverse community. The Center for the Performing Arts is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that manages and operates the Center’s three performance venues: the Palladium (1,600 seat concert hall), the Tarkington Theater (500 seats proscenium stage) and the Studio Theater (small flexible black box space).
