Whether you are persuading colleagues, selling a client or energizing a team, the power of your presentation skills makes the difference between success and failure.
This 1-day, eight-hour program is designed to assist individuals in becoming more successful professionally by teaching them the effective communication skills that are increasingly required in the business world. The following topics will be covered in day one of the workshop: Building self-confidence, dealing with nervousness, knowing your audience, maintaining audience attention, using proper protocol, how to plan, prepare and deliver a speech, using audio-visual aids, impromptu speaking, when to use humor, vocal variety and proper use of gestures.
Afternoon session is designed to assist individuals who give business presentations to become more successful professionally by teaching them the effective communication skills that are required. You will have the opportunity to practice what you have learned conceptually in day one’s interactive session, while also understanding persuasive techniques and how to handle Q& A sessions. Each participant will be required to conduct a 3-5 minute business presentation for evaluation (presentation will be recorded). A PowerPoint to go along with the presentation is suggested. Note: Participants must take both parts for full benefit and to receive a certificate.

Changing the world, one presentation at a time.™ As a seminar leader, trainer, coach and professional speaker, she works with individuals and organizations to overcome their communication apprehension and enables them to reach their full potential as speakers. Marsha facilitates presentation and interpersonal communication programs internationally and has worked with many well-known clients such as Florida Power and Light, DaVita, and Stiles Corporation.
Marsha holds a master’s degree in Mass Communication and is an adjunct communications instructor at Broward College. She is the author of the E-workbook “Break Your Fear of Public Speaking!” and the instructor for her Continuing Legal Education course called "Speaking for Influence and Power."
She is currently a board member of the Florida Speakers Association and a professional member of the National Speakers Association. In addition, she is an active member in the American Society of Training and Development.
