Description
Introducing a new, civically engaged public art event based in the South End* See art in the public realm that activates its site and the space around it. Four artist installations represent a diversity of media, engaging Common Boston attendees and the larger community.
Public Space / Public Art will officially open on Sunday June 17th with an artists' walk beginning at 5:30pm from Wellington Green, on the corner of Wellington St and Columbus Ave. The walk will conclude at Duffy Design, 520 Harrison Ave where we'll enjoy the Public Space / Public Art Opening Reception en tandem with our Student Design Exhibition from 7–9pm.
Public Space / Public Art includes:

"Neighborhood Gardens Project" by Mark Cooper
“Now Hear This, Hear this Now" by Mike Szegedi
“Seated Fossils” by Ann Alexander
