DC-AAPOR is proud to host the 11th Public Opinion Quarterly (POQ) Special Issue Conference. This year’s conference will feature many of the authors who contributed to the 2018 Special Issue: The Psychology of Politics and Elections.

Attendees will hear in-depth author discussions of their articles, expanding on the motivation for and relevance of their papers, extensions to survey research and public opinion practice, and prospects for future work. There will be ample time for Q&A and discussion after each author's presentation.

The conference will be held at Gallup (901 F St NW, Washington, D.C. 20004) on March 15, 2019. Registration opens at 8:30am. The program will begin at 9:00am and conclude at 4:00pm. Refreshments will be served during the morning and afternoon breaks, and lunch will be on your own.

FAQ:

1) Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, but you must pre-register AND bring photo ID for admittance to the Gallup building.

2) How do I get to Gallup?

Take Metro! Red/Yellow/Green Line to Gallery PI-Chinatown and use the Chinatown/Gallery exit. The Gallup building is directly across the street. The entrance to the building is on 9th St. NW.

3) Is lunch provided?

No, lunch is on your own. There are many restaurant options around the Gallery PI-Chinatown station. Light refreshments will be offered during breaks.
