Event description

Description

The Knowledge Network family of websites provide access to thousands of full text articles and ebooks, several research databases and a range of evidence summaries and other services. This year NHS Education for Scotland spent £2.8m on these subscription services to ensure equity of access to research and evidence for all staff in health and social care.

Due to both changing information needs and financial constraints the current model is no longer sustainable. NHS Education for Scotland continues to be committed to providing access to knowledge and evidence via online subscription services on a 'once for Scotland' basis, but needs to ensure the service provided is of good value and cost-effective in meeting both the practice and learning needs for all staff in health and social care in Scotland.

To have your say on the resources which are most important to the public health workforce, join us for an informal focus group to discuss which resources you use regularly, how you use them, and which are essential for your work.
