“Public Health Advocacy in the Current Political Climate”

A light lunch will be provided.


Public Health Advocacy in the Current Political Climate will bring in on the ground advocates from a diverse range of public health issues to talk about the advocates’ roles with making systemic change to positively impact health, to provide concrete ways for public health students and professionals to get involved, and to empower students, faculty, and staff. The event will serve as a call to action, broadening the FSPH community’s perspective on how they can contribute to advocacy as public health professionals from diverse backgrounds and with a wide-range of skillsets

This Grand Round is sponsored by: The Public Health Training Program on Population Health Advocacy, the Department of Community Health Sciences, the Student Affairs Office, and the Office of the Associate Dean for Practice.
