Public Good Tech to Combat Hate Speech.

Online and social media-based hate speech cause a great deal of harm and can also be deadly. It often targets groups and individuals on the basis of race, religion, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, disability, or gender. It poisons debate, fuels prejudice and can incite real-world violence and divide society. But what is the best way to combat it? The tools and organizations we will feature in this panel discussion are working to build an effective and sustainable response to hate speech.
