Event description

Description

Join us at an upcoming public forum to share experiences and ideas on the Residential Permit Parking program. As with parking itself, space is limited – so reserve a spot today.

On-street parking is a valuable, often-limited community asset that must be managed for the greatest public benefit. For the first time in over a decade, Arlington County is conducting an extensive review of the purpose and function of its Residential Permit Parking (RPP) Program, seeking ways to improve the user experience, efficiency in its administration and fairness.

The County recently collected general feedback on parking online from more than 1,600 residents and stakeholders. We’re now kicking off an in-person phase of engagement to present what we heard and begin more in-depth conversations about what works and does not work with the RPP Program as it is today. The information we gather will help us and the County Board understand which program aspects need review and, perhaps, changes.

Light refreshments will be provided. Language interpreters will be available in Spanish and Amharic. Other languages are available upon request.

There will also be child activities for kids 3 and older.

If you are unable to attend this session, other forums are scheduled. For a full list of dates and locations, and more information about the RPP Review, visit: projects.arlingtonva.us/residential-permit-parking-rpp-review/.
