Description

Researchers are increasingly called on to show the effect of their research on an individual, community, the development of policy, or the creation of new products and services. The Brilliant Club is convening free workshops to discuss the best ways of creating impact from academic research.

1. Thursday 9 November - Paper and roundtable with Dr Sonia Bussu (UCL). Sonia will discuss managing and evaluating projects that combine public engagement and policy-making.

2. Wednesday 6 December - Paper and rountable with Elizabeth Meckes, Head of Digital at Amnesty International. Elizabeth will discuss working with academics on public-facing projects.

Please arrive from 4.30pm for a 5pm start. Tea and coffee will be provided.
