What to Expect: Hear directly from city arts & culture leaders and experienced public artists representing multiple NWA cities and organizations.

Learn the why, what, how, and where of public art — and leave equipped with the knowledge and confidence to submit your own proposals in the years ahead.

Format:

• Optional walking tour or networking (Walking tour begins at 5:25 PM sharp if weather permits, otherwise we will network inside the COLC)
• “Public Art 101” intro by Lucas Cowan followed by curated discussion featuring an incredible panel of art and culture leaders in Northwest Arkansas: Tom Hoehn - Vice Chair, Bentonville Public Art Advisory Board. Lisa Marie Evans - Filmmaker/Animator, ACF Director. Joanna Bell - Arts & Culture Director. Roxy Erickson - Artist/Muralist, MFA.
