Lecture: “Mr. Rogers' Take on Collective Conciousness” 🤝
Speaker: Educator, Reginald Harris 🧠
“Won’t you be my neighbor?” takes on the modern ideaology of collective consciousness. Reggie Harris is joining Pub Scholar to take us on a journey of how our emotions, choices, and inner worlds subtly shape one another.
In this lecture, we take a nostalgic icon and use him as a lens for something unexpectedly profound: how Mr. Rogers’ philosophy of empathy, attunement, and shared imagination mirrors what psychologists and sociologists now describe as the connective tissue of human experience. It’s warm, a little mysterious, and intellectually rich—an exploration of Mr. Rogers himself and his message that still resonates in an era of fractured attention and lonely communities.
Expect insight surrounded by community, with enough intrigue to make you rethink what it means to be a “neighbor” at all.
Cheers, Scholars!
